Abandoned castle in an ancient city
a body foreign to happiness
life is a tragedy cruel and merciless
ugly carcass in a whitewashed sepulchre

A hush of laughter
frosty without form and girth
if time heals everything
where then does it go when death knocks?

void is a ripple of nothingness against time
like a burning wick in a black night
burning wistfully
from a past of no redemption to a future swerved of history
