The Heroe Book Fair is currently ongoing in Mombasa, Kenya, and online from March 22-26, 2021. The festival theme is on “Belonging.” According to the organizers, conversations during the event will be centered on Race, Identity and Ethnicity
Heroe Book Fair is founded by Kenyan writer, Lorna Likiza. The event is aimed at bringing together Anglophone, Francophone and German Speaking Writers, Poets, Publishers and Literary Enthusiasts from Africa and Black Diaspora yearly, in a couple of days to celebrate literary works and achievements. There will be panel discussions, poetry readings, book launches, keynote addresses, and lots more.
