OUR POLICY
Much as we strongly encourage submissions, we would not publish entries that do not agree with our ethics or ideology. We are a team that wants the human spirit to thrive, we celebrate diversity. Therefore, forms of art that undermine people based on skin color or gender or sexual orientation or religious affiliation will not be published on our platform.
PAYING OUR WRITERS
AR is a nonprofit organization; our magazine is not yielding any financial benefits. Therefore, even though we would have loved to, we are not able to pay our beloved writers and poets for now. In the meantime, an online presence of your piece and dissemination on all our social media platforms is the farthest we can go in appreciating the good work that you do.
GENRE
We publish prose (short-stories and creative non-fiction) Plays and Poems. We also publish reviews and literary essays. AR creates awareness about African books especially the newest ones and the oldest ones which have been forgotten. We publish blurbs and literary reviews that promote all genres of literature including drama and literature-laced philosophical books.
