Apply for the 2021 SprinNG Writing Fellowship. The fellowship provides writers with an intensive “6 weeks online mentorship program for developing writers with great potential and willingness to learn”
Who is eligible for this fellowship? The fellowship is open to Nigerian and Ghanaian citizens/residents, between the ages of 18 and 25, who have not yet published a full-length work.
How the workshop is structured:
- The fellowship will focus on poetry, fiction, non-fiction, book review, play/drama, and blogging.
- Mentees will receive feedback on their work from mentors. Mentees will also work with their mentors on one piece of writing in their selected genre for each week of the program.
- Communication between mentors and mentees will be via email, phone calls, whatsApp and text messages. All mentees will be provided weekly N500/¢10 airtime during the program.
The application period is open, and it will end on April 15. Successful mentees will be announced on May 15. The fellowship will take place from June 1 to July 15.
